3,642 Euro donation from Fischer Car Group to the Aspandem disabled home in San Pedro de Alcantara

Fischer Car Group has been financially supporting ASPANDEM the disabled home in San Pedro de Alcantara through donations for several years. And this time around Walter Fischer did not want to miss out on the opportunity on handing the check for 3642 € to those responsible of the disabled home personally. The donation money was collected during the Fischer Car Group and Royal Crown Motors Charity Golf Tournament  in La Zagaleta. The visit took place in the afternoon so that the Vice President Angel Martinez Torreblanca a spontaneous tour suggested, in which Walter Fischer was shown several Departments.

“Our house is an open house,” said José Juan López Bolea, the general manager of ASPANDEM. And Maria Nieves Cabrera Pastor adds that the house always being open provides the supporters of the institution with the important transparency. Walter Fischer agrees, in fact he has taken the openness as an opportunity to give part of the donations he collect over the year at various events to ASPANDEM.
“The initiator that introduced me to ASPANDEM was Dietmar Knoch about 5 years ago. He pointed the facility out to us and recommended it as a very good organization. We gladly took the recommendation and since than we split our donations in proportion with ASPANDEM and, more recently, also with Brigitte Frey, who is involved in helping Kenyan farmers under the slogan “help to help one self” with her organization A Better World AG. We used to give our fund-raises only to one organization, but there was relatively little reference to the recipients of the funds. At ASPANDEM we are right in the middle of everything, we can see what happens with our donations. It is a joy to see what we can move, for example with our recent donations several air conditioners were bought. Something that is of very good use during this hot summer.”

Walter Fischer: “To me it is very important to know what each person and organization does with our donations”

With relative little money Brigitte Frey and her organization can help a huge amount of people in Africa

But for Walter Fischer the donation isn’t over after presenting the check. “To me it is very important to know what each person and organization does with our donations. Just like here in San Pedro, I can stop by and convince myself. With Brigitte Frey it is just as personal in Africa, she teaches the people in Kenya. There no funds flow directly to the people, but it is useful implemented. With relatively little money that allows planting of fields, gardens and building wells she can help a huge amount of people. She enables these people to help themselves. That, for me, is the right thing. I would not feel comfortable just sending the money without knowing if it is used efficiently.”

Walter Fischer: “At ASPANDEM we are right in the middle of everything, we can see what happens with our donations”

If he does not get the feeling that each donated Euro is used properly to help the needy then he would not do it, he says. That is in his nature and he feels obligated to those who have helped making the big check with their donationsAs personal as Fischer assists the disable and needy people a personal he is with each of his car customers trying to for fill every wish as best possible. That is thanked by the confidence of his many regularly coming customers who during the last 12 years did not become less but more and more – People who appreciate the very personal service from Fischer Car Group.

Charity Golf Event in La Zagaleta

April 10th, 2010

Fischer Car Group and Royal Crown Motors celebrated their charity golf event at the exclusive Club de Campo La Zagaleta and spent an unforgettable day together with their guests, 76 golf players and 140 guests for the dinner.

The participants started with a delicious breakfast at the unique Clubhouse to be ready for the competition on a breezy day on the old course of the club.

At the Hole-in-One the players stopped to be looked after by the Fischer Car Group Team and have been served champaign, Pacharan and more delicious things to be prepared for  hitting the ball and win a brand new Mercedes E Class convertible, sponsored by Fischer Car Group.  Walter Fischer managed to be the first car dealer on the coast to present the new E Class convertible. At the end he had to take the car back into his showroom as no one made a hole-in-one that day.

After the game the players met in the exclusive clubhouse for some tapas and relaxed in the afternoon before the 140 guests met in the stunning Pavillon of the Club House La Zagaleta where they have been served a fantastic menu.

During the evening the new founded cooperation between Fischer Car Group and Royal Crown Motors was announced which allows the Fischer 2 Selected Cars showroom in San Pedro de Alcantara to offer the brands, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley and Lexus as well as the official service per brand. Royal Crown Motors presented spectacular new Rolls Royce Ghost to the participants.

José Campelo, Director Royal Crown Motors handed one of tombola prizes, a weekend with a Lamborghini Gallardo, over to Beate Ruthenberg, Teamcaptain Ladies from La Zagaleta.

The main prize of the tombola,1 week in Kitzbühel for 2 persons including flight, stay in 5* star hotel and personal hospitality by the Fischer family, went to Wolfram Lamping.

The charity event was celebrated in benefit of the Charity organizations Aspandem San Pedro, Concordia and SOF-DI. Originally part of the collected money should be sent to Haiti, but the organizers decided to support the organization SOF-DI, run by Beate Frey, which supports farmers in Kenia and helps them to grow organic food for their own use and to build wells to have clean water for their families. Beate Frey is intensively dedicated to her project and makes sure personally in Kenia that the collected money will be used what it has been given for. As Haiti receives millions of donations from all over the world, the organizers decided to help bringing attention to this important project.
The overall revenue of the evening for the three organizations is € 10.625,- .

The evening was completed by a stunning acrobatic and fashion show, presented by Patricia Nahmad Collections. The exceptional singer Nuria Lima entertained the guest and everyone finished the event dancing until early Sunday morning.
