Which one really has the kick? The 500HP of the Lamborghini, or the 450HP of the Maserati? Hollywood Actor Christian Oliver and the young Formula race car driver Jackie Weiss didn’t waist much time speculating. As one of the highlights for the guests of the first “Kempinski Estepona Culinary 2010″ events Walter Fischer brought the two high-profile Special Cars directly from the showroom of Fischer 2 Selected Cars in San Pedro and placed them at the entrance of the Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona. There, they did not only receive attention from the VIP guests of the fully booked gourmet events.  

Christian Oliver and Jackie Weiss already met two years ago for their first competition. Oliver traveled from Los Angeles to Germany for the premiere of the fun movie “Speed Racer: The IMAX Experience” in Berlin and was then invited by the german TV Channel RTL to the Formula One Circuit Hockenheimring. On the home race track of Jackie Weiss the Speed Racer Character ‘Snake Oiler’ sat in a Formula racing car for his very first time. He promptly lost the race against Jackie and announced his will for a revenge.  

The revenge has now been made possible with the help of the Fischer Group Car in Marbella. On Saturday morning, Walter Fischer presented the key from the Lamborghini Gallardo to Germany’s youngest Formula racing driver Jackie Weiss, and than handed Christian Oliver the keys of the pearl white Maserati. Both drove up the mountain to Ronda to the exclusive, private Ascari Race Resort, where the two were able to drive their revenge on the 5.425 km long circuit in Formula 1 style.  

The Ascari Race Resort doesn’t only attract the motorsport enthusiasts. Walter Fischer detected early that his customers like to enjoy themselves on the racetrack. Within his Ascari dealer membership he can provide them with a unique opportunity to an ultimate driving experience on private club days and at special events.  

The long-established individual and very personal “Fischer Mercedes Service” is appreciated from a wide range of clients around Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara. But with all the fascination exerted by a high-class sports car, safety is always an issue. In fact, one can nowhere in Spain or in other countries drive his car without limits. And so the Fischer Car Group were the first dealership with the idea of not only selling the powerful high-class cars – and since recently also rent them – but also to provide a place where one can drive these special cars with their full speed, without risking a fine and traffic ticket.  

“Wow, it was just great,” said Christian Oliver to Rigor Tabbert, CEO of Ascari, after he got out of the Radical race car. “I could not believe how hard and late you can brake – I know, of course, that I always got on the brakes far too early.” And this, of course, was good for Jackie, which again won the competition. However, Christian has offered a rematch, this time a la Nascar – in Los Angeles, U.S.A..  

Next to winning an important fact that cant be underestimated is fun. And from that, there was plenty in the Ascari Race Resort, as well as on the way back to Marbella. Walter Fischer passed the Lamborghini to Christian Oliver, so that Jackie Weiss drove the Maserati back to the Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona.  

On Saturday evening the focus was not so much on the speed, but on the pleasure: The 5 course star dinner in the restaurant Alminar, created by the Michelin Star Chef Frank Oehler as the opening of the “Kempinski Estepona Culinary 2010″. Accompanied by piano music rather than engine noise, it was then discussed what really kicks more – the Lambo, the Maserati – or at least the Asian tuna with foie gras, goat cheese and apple foam-Spring Roll …
