Since long time Walter Fischer wanted to show his private collection of oil paintings of the famous Italian painter Lido Bettarini to his friends and best customers, so finally the vernissage took place on Thursday, December 8th at Kempinski Hotel Bahía Estepona.

Together with his wife Vera, Walter Fischer invited also to the annual Christmas cocktail of Fischer Car Group. Approx. 100 guests were delighted to follow this invite and enjoyed very much the festive atmosphere and the 5 star catering of the Kempinski hotel.

Lido Bettarini, born in 1937 in Florence, received his artistic training at the Florence Academy of Art. Since the mid-sixties, he was very successful with exhibitions in Florence, Rome, Paris, New York and Munich, to name just a few important cities.

Walter Fischer, established in the automotive business in Marbella since 14 years, was very pleased to have his loyal customers and closest friends that night around. Matthias Girlich, Ascari Race Resort, introduced the world-famous photographer René Staud, who handed over the latest Mercedes 300 SL calendar, which celebrates on 13 pages the myth of the legendary SL, 125 years after the invention of the automobile.
 
Walter Fischer, known for years for his strong social commitment, announced  that five percent of the proceeds of this exhibition will be donated to charity.

The exhibition can be visited until 4th of February 2011, Monday – Saturday between 10.00 und 20.00 o’clock in the Kempinski Hotel Estepona.
